No School on Monday!

Sunalta Updates

Our first day of school was an celebration for our entire Sunalta community. Although some students will not be returning until later in September, it was an exciting opening for new and returning families. Our grade 6 students have taken over the downstairs next door to our kindergarten classroom with new furniture and new teachers! Thanks and gratitude to our school council including Stacey S, Dana R, Kerstin A, and Nancy W for inviting parents to have a coffee and gather after saying farewell to their children. Sunalta School encourages parents to connect and be part of our positive and welcoming school community.

Reminder that school hours are

Monday to Thursday 8:40 AM - 3:21 PM (supervision at 8:30 AM).

Please do not drop off your child early without being with them.

Friday 8:40 AM - 12:18 PM

Kindergarten

Morning  8:40 AM - 11:40 AM

Afternoon 12:20 PM - 3:20 PM

Alternating Fridays 8:40 AM - 11:40 AM

If you will be late picking up your child, please contact the office at (403-777-8590)

All students registered in after care will go to the program and will be signed out by families. We are all invested in the safety of our students and this procedure allows students to be supervised and accounted for. Thank you for your understanding.

Fun Lunch (run by Sunalta School Council)

Families interested in a fun lunch need to order through Healthy Hunger. Only kindergarten students that are in aftercare may sign up for the meal. More information will come next week with the council welcome package.
