In recognition of today, National Indigenous Peoples Day, and in alignment with the CBE Three-Year Education Plan, Sunalta School is reaffirming and moving forward in our next steps of our commitment to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada’s (TRC) Calls to Action for the 2024-2025 school year. This year, our commitment is inspired by Call to Action 63.3, focusing on learning about and through Indigenous knowledges to build student capacity for intercultural understanding, empathy, and mutual respect.
