Festive Greenery Fundraiser
Pick up is this Monday, December 1, 2025, between 3:30-5:00pm. If you ordered, please remember to stop by the school (Auxiliary Gym) to pick up your lovely Winter Greenery.
Winter Solstice Evening – December 4
Join us for our first annual Winter Solstice Evening on December 4, as we come together to celebrate the winter season as a school community. Throughout the evening, families can enjoy hot chocolate, the Grade 6 bake sale, student and staff buskers, and a variety of classroom activities.
Our K–3 musical performances will take place as follows:
· Kindergarten – 4:30 p.m. (Reindeer Love to Boogie)
· Grade 1 – 4:45 p.m. (Candy Cane Kid)
· Grade 2 – 5:00 p.m. (Santa Claus)
· Grade 3 – 5:15 p.m. (Santa’s Helpers)
We will also be supporting families in need through The Giving Tree gift card donation initiative.
We look forward to welcoming you for an evening of warmth, connection, and community spirit!
Bake Sale – December 4, 2025
Bakers needed! – If you can provide some delicious baked goodies for the Grade 6 Bake Sale, the committee would really appreciate it. Please send them in with your child on December 4 in the morning and we will make sure they get to the storage area. Thank you!
The Grade 6 Graduation Committee is excited to announce a Bake Sale Fundraiser taking place during the school day and again in the evening at the Winter Solstice event on December 4th! We’ll be offering a delicious assortment of treats for purchase, with all proceeds supporting our Grade 6 students. Funds raised will help provide a memorable year-end celebration, yearbooks for every Grade 6 student, and a special legacy gift for the school to be enjoyed for years to come. Students will have the first opportunity to purchase items during school hours on December 4th, so please consider sending money with your child that day. The bake sale will then reopen for families and the community at the Winter Solstice event starting at 4:00 p.m.

The Giving Tree
This holiday season, we are once again supporting Sunalta families who may need a little extra help. Instead of sponsoring individual families, we will be collecting gift cards to distribute where they’re needed most. If you’d like to contribute, please send a gift card of any amount to the school office during the first few weeks of December. Grocery, gas, coffee, toy stores, or any other thoughtful options are all appreciated. Each student who donates will receive an ornament to hang on The Giving Tree—our hope is to see it full by the end of December as a symbol of our community’s generosity. Thank you for helping us support one another and spread Holiday Spirit throughout our Sunalta community.
