Attending Sunalta for 2026/2027
As we begin planning for the 2026–2027 school year, we ask that families complete a short form to indicate their intention for their child(ren) to remain at Sunalta School next year.
- Please complete one form per child currently attending Sunalta.
- If you are not intending to stay at Sunalta for the 2026–2027 school year, please let us know by completing the same form.
- Grade 6 families do not need to complete this form.
This information is very important and helps us plan for class organization and staffing for the 2026/2027 school year. Thank you for taking the time to support our planning process.

Trickster Theatre
We are getting ready for our Trickster Theatre Residency coming up soon. The students will be actively involved in the Residency during the week of February 17-20, 2026. All their hard work will be show cased on the afternoon of Friday, February 20, 2026. Save the date!
- There will be two performances on Friday, February 20, 2026
- 12:30pm - Kindergarten–Grade 3 (Door open at 12:20pm)
- 1:30pm - Grades 4–6 (Doors open at 1:20pm)
More information will be coming next week about lots of volunteer opportunities for families. As soon as Trickster has sent us the volunteer sign up, I will get it out to you!

- February 12 & 13, 2026 – Calgary City Teachers’ Convention (No school for students)
- February 16, 2026 – Family Day (No school for students and staff)
- February 20, 2026 (PM) Trickster Theatre Performance for all grades
- February 24, 2026 – Report Cards are available in MyCBE Accounts
- February 26, 2026 – Family Movie Night
- February 27, 2026 – Non-instructional Day (No school for students)

- March 8 & 9, 2026 – Elev8 Lacrosse Residency
- March 16-19, 2026 – Read-A-Thon Week
- March 18, 2026 –Student Led Conferences
- March 19, 2026 – Student Led Conferences
- March 23-27, 2026 – Spring Break
