Staff Update
We’d like to share that Laurie Haydu , our wonderful Library Assistant, will be moving on to a new role at Windsor Park School starting in June 2025. While we are sad to see her go, we are incredibly grateful for her contributions and dedication during her time with us. Laurie will be deeply missed by both staff and students. Please join us in wishing her all the best in this exciting new chapter!

We’re incredibly proud of our students who competed in the APEGA Science Olympics and earned a Gold Ribbon in the design challenges! Their creative solutions and thoughtful responses to the judges’ questions truly impressed everyone.
A special thank you to Ms. Aldridge for her dedicated support and guidance throughout the competition. Well done, team!
Community Walks – Exploring Nature Together
At Sunalta, we are excited to incorporate community walks into our learning across all grade levels! These walks provide students with opportunities to explore local nature and wildlife, make real-world connections, and deepen their understanding of curriculum topics in science, social studies, and more. Whether it's observing seasonal changes, identifying local species, or connecting with the land, each walk is a chance to engage minds and inspire curiosity.
Tennis Lessons Starting Next Week for Grade 3-6! 🎾
We’re excited to kick off our tennis lesson program next week for students in grade 3-6!
A big thank you to our amazing volunteers for helping make this happen, and to our School Council for generously funding this opportunity.
We’re looking forward to seeing our students learn new skills and have fun on the court!
