Child Youth and Well-Being Family and Caregiver Series:
The Calgary Board of Education invites all parents and guardians to join a live online series on supporting child and youth well-being. The series is hosted by the Recovery Alberta Community Education Service (CES) Program in collaboration with local experts from the Calgary community. The series is designed to provide families with knowledge, tools, and strategies to help navigate the challenges and opportunities of raising children and teens today. Sunalta After-School Art Program
The Sunalta School Council are excited to share that the Sunalta After-School Art Program will be returning this fall! Designed to ignite imagination, build confidence, and develop artistic skills, this program offers students the chance to explore drawing, acrylic painting, watercolour, and mixed media in a supportive and inspiring environment.
With small class sizes (maximum 12 students), children receive personalized instruction and step-by-step guidance while learning to draw animals, flowers, landscapes, pets, portraits, and more. Instructional sheets and photo references are provided to help support learning.
📅 Session Dates:
- October 30
- November 6, 13, 20, 27
- December 4, 11, 18
🕒 Time: Thursdays, 3:20–5:00 p.m.
💲 Fee: $280 (no GST)
📌 Registration: First-come, first-served basis (limit of 12 students)
