Ducklings coming soon to Sunalta! Ms. Eakins and our Grade 1 students have duck eggs incubating in their classroom. We are looking forward to having little ducklings in the near future. Thank you to School Council for funding the Nanny McCluckins program. 

Lunchroom Supervisor Hiring Opportunity: CBE is looking for people interested in being lunchroom supervisors (10hours/week). On April 25, Chinook Learning is running a one-day training session that will introduce potential lunch supervisors to CBE’s Lunch Supervision Service for elementary students. The CBE recognizes this 7-hour certificate to meet the qualifications for the position of Lunch Supervisors. 

Dates of Significance link Sunalta School is proud to have many cultures within our building. As it is the end of Ramadan for some families at Sunalta, we thought we would share the CBE dates of significance. Eid Mubarak. 

Spring Concert: Our Division 2 students, Djembe Club, and Music Teacher Ms Irwin, are practicing and preparing for our concert on Thursday, May 9 in the evening. Our staff are creating beautiful new fabric murals for the production. Thank you to School Council for funding this legacy project.
