Sunalta School will continue its tradition of participating in the Fill a Sock Campaign (formerly ‘Warm Feet for the Street’) organized by the Mustard Seed. Warm the hearts of those experiencing homelessness and poverty by filling a sock with essential donations. Support individuals in need during the cold winter months with this simple yet impactful gesture of compassion which aims to bring hope and positive impact on the lives of those in need.

Each class is asked to provide a specific item for the socks that will be assembled by the grade 6 classes. All items can be purchased at the grocery store, dollar store, or drugstore.

Have your child bring their items to their classroom teacher starting now, and all contributions must be brought to the school no later than Friday Dec. 13.

Thank you for supporting this program. It is small contributions made by many children that help make the holiday season a little warmer for an individual who is less fortunate.

If you have any questions regarding this project, please contact Emily Gillis at 780.232.8288 & email emilykgillis@gmail.com or Lindsey Starko at starkolindsey@gmail.com & 587-892-2622.
