Hello, from the Sunalta School Council! 

Hope everyone had a great first week of school! It was awesome to meet and share coffee with some of you last Thursday at the Council tent and we look forward to meeting more of you at our first Council meeting on Tuesday, October 15th at 6:30 pm in the school library. Please watch your child’s backpack for a Welcome Back package from Sunalta School Council & Fundraising Society a little later this month with all the meeting dates and important back to school information! 

As well, we wanted to remind you that the Healthy Hunger ORDER DEADLINE is the Friday (at midnight) before for lunches on Wednesdays and the Wednesday before for treats on Mondays. Here is the link to create your account www.healthyhunger.ca (if you haven’t already) and fill out your orders. Choose Sunalta School and follow the prompts for each child's grade and teacher. All lunches and treats are listed to the end of the calendar year so you can order multiple lunches at a time. This year we are having weekly fun lunches and a treat on the last Monday of every month, instead of every two weeks so you can order every time or once in a while - whatever works for you! Our first Fun Lunch is next Wednesday, September 11th so you have time to get your order in today! 

To make these Fun Lunches happen, we need volunteers and for this you do not need your police clearance, so anyone can help out! Here is the link to Sign Up to Volunteer.
