Welcome Back Coffee: 

The Sunalta School Council will be serving free coffee on August 31 from 8:15-8:45 AM. Stop by the tent for coffee and a chat. Feel free to bring your own travel mug. 

 

Safe Drop-Off and Pick-Up Reminder 

As we begin a new school year, we want to remind everyone about the importance of safe and respectful driving during student drop-off and pick-up times. Our top priority is keeping students safe, and we appreciate your cooperation in following the rules of the road and school procedures. 

A few key reminders: 

  • Please drive slowly and remain alert in school zones. 
  • Always use designated drop-off and pick-up areas. 
  • Do not stop in crosswalks or bus lanes. 
  • Remind your child to enter and exit vehicles on the sidewalk side. 
  • Be patient—safety comes before convenience. 

Thank you for helping us create a safe environment for all students. Together, we can ensure smooth and secure drop-off and pick-up each day. 

 

Alien Inline Skating 

We're excited to welcome Alien In-Line Skating back to Sunalta School this September! Students will participate in this popular program from September 14-24, developing new skills, building confidence, and staying active while having fun. 

Be sure to save the date for our Family Skate Night on Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. This annual event is a wonderful opportunity for families to come together, enjoy some skating, and connect with our school community. More information will be shared in the coming weeks. 

 

Healthy Hunger Lunches 

Our School Council organizes Healthy Hunger lunches as part of the ongoing fundraising efforts that support our school community. These special lunch days give families the option to order a meal for their child, so you don’t have to pack a lunch on those days. To participate, please sign up through the link below:

We are also looking for volunteers to help with distributing lunches these days. If you are able to lend a hand, we will send out a Sign Up Genius link as soon as we have it up and running.
