Cozy for Conservation 

Grade 4 has raised $310! That is amazing! There is still time if you would like to send in a donation. Grade 4 will deliver the donation tomorrow to Ann and Sandy Cross Conservation Area. They will be thrilled!  

 

Backpack Safety Reminder  

We would like to share an important safety reminder regarding items attached to student backpacks. Recently, a student experienced a minor facial scratch after coming into contact with an object hanging from another backpack. To help keep all students safe, please take a moment to check your child’s backpack for any dangling items, toys, or accessories. If any of these could pose a risk, such as having sharp edges or hanging loosely, please remove them before your child comes to school. Thank you for your continued support in maintaining a safe and caring environment for everyone at Sunalta School. 

 

Library Books Overdue – Please Return ASAP 

The deadline to return library books (June 5, 2026) has now passed. If you still have a library book at home, please return it to school as soon as possible. Prompt returns are important as our staff continue year-end library processes and prepare the space for the upcoming school year. We appreciate your attention to this request and your support in helping us keep the library organized and ready for students. Thank you! 

 

English as an Additional Language Summer Camps 

Please see the attachments for two summer camp opportunities offered by The Calgary Bridge Foundation for Youth (CBFY). 

Bridge Summer Camp is a three-week program (Mon - Thurs) open to all students in Grades 1-9. There are two sessions offered: July 6-22 and July 27-Aug 13. The registration link is: https://pci.jotform.com/form/261394134148255 

WIN/NOW Summer Camp is a free two-day program (Aug 18 & 19) open to current Grade 6-11 newcomer students who have Permanent Resident status. The registration link is: https://form.jotform.com/261324539383258.
