Traffic Safety Reminder – Welcome Back from Spring Break!

As we return from Spring Break, we ask all families to help keep our school community safe by following all posted traffic and parking signage around the school.

Please remember:

  • Do not park or stop in “No Stopping” or “No Parking” zones. These areas are designated for safety and visibility.
  • Do not make U‑turns on the road near the school. This creates a significant hazard for children and other drivers.
  • Do not drop children off on crosswalks. Crosswalks must remain clear at all times so students can cross safely.
  • Be respectful and cooperative with staff who may remind you if you are violating city signage. Their role is to keep all students safe.

Thank you for doing your part to support a safe and smooth drop-off and pick-up for everyone. Your care and attention make a difference!

Read-A-Thon Update and Pledges

To support our Read‑a‑thon, each student has brought home a Reading Bingo Card. Students have been collecting pledges for every square they completed throughout the week—an exciting way to motivate readers and involve our community. Donations will be collected until Monday April 6th; cash or cheque donations can be brought to the school office, with cheques being made out to Sunalta School Parent Society. Donations can also be made online through educationmatters.ca/schools/sunalta-school. Tax receipts will be available for donations over $25.
