Math Club:
The Calgary Elementary School Mathematics Contest (CESMC) is an annual mathematics competition organized by the Department of Mathematics and Computing at Mount Royal University. Some of our Grade 4, 5 & 6 students were proud to participate in the Fourteenth Annual Contest, held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026.
This opportunity marked the culmination of a successful weekly Math Club, where 105 students in Grades 4–6 enthusiastically built their problem‑solving skills throughout the year. We celebrate their hard work, dedication, and achievement as they completed the Mount Royal University mathematics quiz this week.
Unofficial Spirit Day – May the 4th (Star Wars Day!)
Join us for an unofficial Spirit Day on May the 4th as we celebrate Star Wars Day! Students and staff are invited to come dressed in their finest Star Wars costumes, T‑shirts, or other Star Wars inspired clothing. Let’s have some fun and show our spirit—May the 4th be with you!
We Need Your Input – Friend Selection for 2026 –2027 School Year
As we prepare class placements for the upcoming school year, families are invited to share input on positive peer connections for their child. Please list 1–5 students who would be supportive learning partners. While placement with all requests cannot be guaranteed, we will make every effort to include at least one or two preferred peers.
