Upcoming School Council and Society Meeting

Next Wednesday is our next school council meeting. Mr Mitchell (grade 1) will be sharing life in the classroom. The admin team have a presentation on school development and budget planning with an invitation for parents to provide feedback.

Assurance Survey

Parents of children in grade 4 will have received a survey in the mail from Alberta Education. Our grade 4 Sunalta families are encouraged to complete this survey online. At this time only 16% of parents have completed the survey Your voice matters. Your participation in the survey helps provide important information on the quality of education your child is receiving. The deadline to complete is March 1, 2024.

Choir! 

Mrs Irwin and Mrs McCrory have some exciting songs prepared and are looking for students interested in choir! This will be a performance opportunity for students in grades 3-6 – Thursday mornings 8-8:40am. A notice has been sent home (this can be found in the attached PDF "Choir February 2024"). ​​​​​​​

Volunteers Needed! 

Grade 5 and 6 Sunalta scientists are busy preparing for our Science Fair. We are looking for judges that would be able to review presentations on February 21 and 22. Please consider signing up to volunteer for a short amount of time Link Criteria and ‘how to judge’ information will be provided by Mr Masuch. Several projects will be selected to represent Sunalta at the Calgary Science Fair.
