MP Greg McLean Visit
Member of Parliament Greg McLean came to speak to our Grade 6 students and their teachers on Monday. He was impressed with the depths of the questions they asked him and spent an hour explain his role as an MP. Students appreciated his opinions about power and electricity in terms of how we are using it as well as what will be needed in the future. He explained the levels of government, how a bill is passed, the role of the Governor General Mary Simon, and some interesting information about the senate.
