Student Learning Conferences

Thank you to all of our families that were able to attend our first set of student learning conferences. Teachers expressed gratitude for all of the great questions parents asked about how they child is doing at school.

Scholastic Book Fair

Thanks and gratitude to our librarian, Laurie Haydu, for all of her extra efforts to deliver a very successful book fair alongside our parent library coordinator, Amanda. Students loved having the opportunity to purchase new books and writing supplies.

Art Cards

Last day to order is Sunday, December 3 in order for them to be printed and delivered to the school before winter break. You will need the child’s order number to be able to purchase. If you have any questions, please email Mrs McCrory at cnmccrory@cbe.ab.ca Proceeds going to the Grade 6 Farewell Party.

Winter Concert

Our Division 1 students will be presenting a winter musical called “Flakes”. They are already sounding lovely! Our Orff Club will also be performing. Dates are December 14 at 1:30pm and 6:30pm. There will be a huge bake sale with proceeds going to the Grade 6 Farewell Party.

From School Council and Society

Dear families,

Our Sunalta School Council has organized some extra-curricular, after school opportunities beginning in January. Information regarding how to register your child and provide payment is attached in the flyer under Resources.

Registration for Mad Science will begin Dec 4 at 9am and is expected to fill up quickly. For those students who took Mad Science last year, new experiments are programmed!!
