Dear Sunalta Families

As we wrap up 2024, we want to take a moment to thank everyone for a wonderful year. Along with our students, we have worked hard, learned a lot, and had so much fun along the way! We are so proud of each and every one of them.

This week was full of laughter and light as we celebrated Sunalta spirit all week long. From PJ day, to carolling with Ms. McCrory & Mr. Clark, dressing in our New Year’s Eve finest, to cartooning the Grinch with Mr. Barker, students and staff came together to celebrate the spirit of the season.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to our Fill a Sock Campaign to support the less fortunate through the Mustard Seed. Thank you to our wonderful parent council, who delivered a large donation and are wishing everyone can share in these winter days with warm toes and warm hearts.

With the holiday season upon us, we’d like to wish all of our students, families, and staff a joyful and restful break. Whether you’re spending time with family, enjoying the winter weather, or simply relaxing, we hope you find time to recharge and celebrate the season.

Alien Inline

We are so excited for our Alien Inline skating residency to begin Monday January 6 and run until Friday January 17. Please ensure the consent form is returned promptly to your child’s homeroom teacher; they will share their individual classroom schedule. Each child is asked to bring their own helmet for this opportunity, if possible. Information on volunteering will be shared soon.

Important Reminders

  • School will be closed for the holiday break from December 23 to January 3
  • Classes will resume on January 6

We look forward to seeing everyone back in the new year, ready for more learning, laughter, and growth!

Wishing you all a very Happy Holidays and a wonderful New Year!
